New Website and Blog

I started this blog in May of 2012, almost six years ago!  When I began,  it was not with the intention of making this hobby into anything more than a hobby.  It was simply to showcase something I enjoyed doing.  That hobby has grown into so much more than I imagined it would.  It has turned into a passion and a career.  It started out just as me, a girl clueless about photography who used her camera on auto mode more often than not.  Now Ryan and I are living our dream of working together.  One of our favorite parts is getting to know our amazing clients, many of whom we are lucky enough to now call friends.

I'm excited to announce that we have a new website.  It is there you will find our current blog.  We will no longer be posting on this one.  We would be honored if you would take a look, and if you want to follow along there we would love that too!

Bayli

Ever since last fall when Bayli told me she would like me to take her senior photos, I have been excited!  I mean look at her.  This girl is beautiful, inside and out, and super photogenic!  She made the cold winter day look as warm as the middle of summer and looked good while doing it!  Bayli is graduating high school this year and is about to begin a whole new chapter in her life.  I look forward to seeing what lies in store for this amazing women.  Thank you Bayli for allowing me to capture this wonderful, important, exciting time of your life!  I wish you all the luck with what is next to come.

The Smith Family

We had been planning this family portrait session for months.  The Smith's knew they wanted snow, but Utah has had an uncharacteristically dry winter.  Then finally, it happened!  The snow came, and when it came, it really came!  Lots of beautiful powdery snow just waiting to have someone brave the cold to be photographed in all it's glory.  The Smiths were more than willing.

When they pulled up, my eyes light up!  While Ryan and I were decked out in snow gear, quite possibly fit for everest, they looked absolutely adorable in their dresses, nice boots, button up shirts, and ties.   We shot quickly, laughed a lot and had a wonderful time with the Smith family in the beautiful snowy Santaquin canyon.  I loved every moment spent with them and I am happy they braved the snow to get these lovely photos!

Kane and Kendall

What is better than getting to spend the morning with an adorable, cuddly, perfect newborn?  Getting to spend the morning with two of them!  Meet Kane and Kendall!  You would never guess it by looking at them but these two cuties are actually three months old.  They were born at 28 weeks and 5 days, both weighing just a little over 2 pounds.  Saying that they have been through a lot already in their short lives is quite an understatement, but God is good and they are now home with their wonderful family who showers them with love.  It was easy to see the moment I walked through the door just how much their two older brothers adore these babies.  They were just the sweetest to be with and I feel blessed to have been able to photograph Kane and Kendall.
